Year-to-Date Total = 1660.05 miles

Miles to go to hit "2008 miles in 2008" - 347.95 miles

Bonnie F. was the only person that walked on Wednesday afternoon, since I did not check my e-mail until after I should have arrived at the Mall. Bonnie F. walked two loops, before she decided to give up on me arriving. We now have each other's cell phone numbers. To make up for not walking yesterday, Bonnie F. and I went to the mall this morning and walked three loops. After that Bonnie F. headed out and I went shopping for a couple of hours. Found some good bargains at J C Penney's.

On Wednesday evening, Tony and I went at the Mall at 6:30 PM. Just after we arrived there was a 10 minute or so down pour. We waited at the Food Court and pretty soon Bonnie P. arrived. We waited until 7:00 PM to see if anybody else was coming. We did a lap and a half and then went to Panera Bread for coffee. We left the mall around 8:30 PM.

Tony and I will be in Georgia this weekend. The Group will be meeting as usual at the Brandon Parkway Trail at 7:15 AM. This rainy weather should be all gone by then. We will be back on late on Monday, August 18th.

The new T-Shirts have been ordered. We should have them by Saturday, August 30th.

Congratulations to Gary on getting a new Job! He will be working in New York. It was under his leadership that we became The Nameless Walking Group of Brandon, Florida.
We will truly miss him. Hopefully, when he comes home to Florida he will be able to walk with us.

They utilize the Internet to link automotive dealers with banks, finance companies, credit unions and other financing sources, as well as other services and information providers, such as the major credit reporting agencies. The purpose of this note is twofold

1) Make my friends and colleagues aware of my job and industry change

2) For all those who provided me guidance, support and empathy as I embarked and made my journey through this challenge, my family and I thank you.

Sincerely
Gary

Pam will be starting her intensive training for the 3-Day Susan G. Komen Walk for The Cure soon, so she will not be able to join us on Saturday mornings until after the walk is over in November. She and her family will be part of The Nameless Walking Group Team that is doing the 5K Race for the Cure on October 4th.

From: Pam

Hi Everyone,
My training walks are scheduled on Saturdays from 5:30 - noon, so Saturday 9/16 will be my last day walking on the parkway until after the event in November. Training is going well, but the thought of walking 60 miles is still overwhelming to me. The Nameless Walking Group is officially entered into the event you can view our picture on the site: http://www.the3day.org/ Search using my name or the group's name.

If you find the time between now and October 21st please send me a card or letter of encouragement to help keep me going during the event to the address below:

Write a letter expressing your love and support to your walker, which we’ll deliver to them on the event at the 3-Day Camp Post Office. (Envelopes only, please. No boxes or large packages. Mail must be postmarked no later than October 21st in order to ensure delivery at the 3-Day Camp Post Office. Any mail that is not retrieved by the walker by November 1st will be destroyed.)
Please send letters to:
