Gasparilla, The Results Are In

Well, the results of the Gasparilla were listed in the Tampa Tribune this morning. Bob and I did a bit better than our own watches indicated. We are very pleased that we had an opportunity to run in this event and I believe that our competitive fires have been rekindled. As mentioned yesterday we didn't achieve our stated goal of completing the event in under 30 minutes, but we are close. Bob and I each completed the event in just under 33 minutes which means that we only need to cut down our times by less than 1 minute per mile to achieve the elusive goal. I have received some feedback from Keith and Val regarding the Saturday morning walk and will post Keith's notes and pictures very soon. Thank you Keith and Val for taking on the documentation and photo duties in the absence of Tony, Mary and me. Speaking of Tony and Mary, they are on their way back from Las Vegas and it sounds as if they have had an incredibly good time. I have some info to post from their trip as well.
